Mission:
As an FP&A Retail Analyst, you will play a crucial role within the "Contrôle de Gestion" (Financial Controlling) department. You will act as the right hand to the Financial Business Partners (FBPs), serving as the financial expert who bridges the gap between the numbers and operational strategy. You are responsible for budget preparation, monitoring financial performance, and identifying commercial challenges to ensure the growth of Carrefour Belgium
Responsibilities
Performance Analysis: You analyze past financial results to identify trends and provide a first level of strategic insight.
Budgeting & Planning: You prepare budgets and financial plans based on historical data and future projections.
Business Partnering: You work closely with operational teams (such as Pricing) to evaluate the financial impact of new concepts and initiatives.
Corporate Governance: You monitor Capex spending and investment committees, and support the accounting closing process and provisions.
Reporting: You prepare financial data for management presentations and collaborate with the Reporting Factory to ensure accurate reports.
Process Optimization: You oversee compliance with financial procedures and propose corrective actions where necessary to improve data reliability.
Profile
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in management, economics, or a related financial field. Relevant experience in controlling, financial analysis, or financial project management is a strong asset.
Analytical Skills: You have a passion for data and numbers and can translate complex information into clear insights.
IT & Languages: You have an in-depth knowledge of Excel (knowledge of an ERP is a plus). You are fluent in both French and Dutch (written and spoken). English is an advantage.
Competencies: You are result-oriented, a strong collaborator, and possess the persuasiveness required to advise stakeholders.
