Technical Specialist (TES) – EU EnvironmentBrussels, BelgiumCustomer: European External Action Service (EEAS)Are you a hands-on IT support professional with strong technical troubleshooting skills and a customer-oriented mindset? We are currently looking for several Technical Specialists (TES) to support a high-profile European institution environment within the EEAS.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting workstation environments, peripherals, cabling, and end-user applications while ensuring a high-quality service delivery experience.Your ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve hardware and software incidentsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesInstall, configure, and maintain IT hardware, peripherals, and cablingSupport workstation environments (Windows 10 and above)Execute patching and temporary fixes to maintain security and operational continuityMaintain accurate documentation of system configurations, IP addresses, and asset informationUse diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify technical issuesWork closely with end users and customer stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of incidentsContribute to incident, problem, change, and configuration management processesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in workstation and peripheral support/administrationIn-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and newer environmentsGood understanding of:Incident ManagementProblem ManagementChange ManagementConfiguration ManagementFamiliarity with patch management and IPAM systemsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAble to work independently and in a structured mannerAccurate, reliable, and service-oriented mindsetLanguage RequirementsEnglish: C1 minimumFrench: C1 minimum(Both written and spoken communication are mandatory for this assignment.)Nice to Have CertificationsThe following certifications are considered an asset:Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator AssociateWindows 10 MCSAGoogle IT Support Professional CertificateMicrosoft Office Specialist (MOS)IT Helpdesk Professional certificationAdvanced Windows Troubleshooting for ITCall Centre Associate CertifiedCertified Network Cabling Design Professional (CNSDP)What You'll Work OnYou will join an international and multicultural IT environment supporting critical European institutional operations, where service quality, reliability, and professionalism are key.Interested or know someone who could be a fit?
