We are seeking a
Senior Data Engineer
with strong hands-on experience in
Java
,
Scala
, and system integration or data science projects. The ideal candidate will have worked in domains such as
fraud detection
,
financial crime
,
compliance
, or
customer insight
, leveraging
predictive models
and
detection logic
to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
* Apply statistical approaches and detection logic to support business-critical use cases.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
* Perform data mapping and resolve data quality issues across relational and object-oriented structures.
* Build and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Ab Initio and Informatica.
* Develop and consume RESTful APIs, handle JSON data formats.
* Support DevOps practices and contribute to operational stability.
* Conduct research and analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields
* Strong proficiency in Java and Scala
* Experience in fraud, financial crime, compliance, or customer insight projects
* Solid understanding of data structures, ETL, and data quality resolution
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
