Enterprise Security ArchitectContract duration: 12 monthsLocation: Hybrid (onsite in Brussels Central 2 days per week)Rate: Market rate (competitive)ProfileAs an Enterprise Security Architect within the Shape team of the Technology Department, you will enable, design and manage initiatives aimed at establishing and anchoring Enterprise Security Architecture, with a focus on the Security Architecture (Application Architecture, Network infrastructure, middleware infrastructure, workplace infrastructure, etc.).As an IT Security Architect you have core competencies (minimum 5 years of experience in the same role) that allow you to exert influence without authority, as there is interaction with the senior strategy & enterprise architect, IT architects, the product owners and infrastructure teams.Strategic design
* Taking the lead in setting up appropriate IT Security Architecture and technology strategies and associated guidelines.
* Design strategies and associated application and infrastructure roadmaps that identify common processes and practices across products and applications (e.g., security, open source, monitoring) and automate or accelerate them.
* Promoting best practices in the field of IT Security & Risk, for the entire organization (IT and business).
Cross team collaboration
* Collaborate intensively with application & infrastructure teams and colleagues IT Infrastructure & Application Architects from TD to help them implement a product-oriented 'Security Proof' strategy, using existing components
* Case-driven collaboration with various business stakeholders to solve technological challenges.
Evaluation
* “Inside look”: continuous evaluation of our internal landscape: are we using or creating IT solutions for 'Future Proof Security & Risk' technologies and patterns?
* “Outside look”: exploration of the external technology landscape regarding emerging technologies, patterns and solutions that are beneficial for the Security & Risk framework of Federal Insurance and therefore also for our internal and external customers.
