About the job

Mission

As a Product Content Creator, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining Banqups product voice and educational experience for our SME and Accountant audience. You will create, adapt, and localize high-quality multimedia content, from in-app texts and help articles to how-to videos and step-by-step guides, ensuring every user interaction is clear, compliant, and engaging.

Working closely with the Product Content Lead and Product Marketing teams, you will transform complex financial and regulatory topics into intuitive, user-friendly learning materials that help customers get the most out of Banqups products.

Responsibilities

This is what we expect of you:

1. Content Creation & Adaptation:
Create and manage all text-based product content, including in-app texts, FAQs, help articles, and user documentation. Adapt global content for the Belgian market, ensuring local relevance, tone, and compliance with legal and tax terminology.
2. Multimedia Production (Video & Guides):
Plan, script, and produce instructional videos and step-by-step visual guides that help users understand product features and workflows. Manage local production budgets and ensure professional quality and consistency.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Accuracy:
Act as the link between Product, Engineering, and Legal/Tax teams to guarantee that all local content reflects current accounting and tax regulations. Ensure Banqups communication is both user-friendly and compliant.
4. Localization Management:
Manage the localization process for Dutch and English (and optionally French) versions of product content. Coordinate with translators and maintain local terminology and style guidelines.
5. Stakeholder & Feedback Management:
Gather input from local Sales, Support, and end-users to identify content gaps and improvement areas. Communicate these insights to global Product and Marketing teams to optimize the user experience.

We are looking for candidates who have:

6. A Bachelors degree in Communication, Technical Writing, Multimedia Production, or a related field (Finance/Accounting is a plus).
7. At least 3 years of experience in product content creation, technical documentation, or localization.
8. Proven experience creating and editing video tutorials and visual guides (a portfolio may be requested).
9. Native or fluent Dutch and business-fluent English (French is a plus).
10. A strong understanding of local accounting or tax principles and small business practices.
11. Expert proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and video/screen recording tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere).
12. Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or legal concepts into engaging, user-focused content.
13. Strong organizational and project management skills, with autonomy and attention to detail.
