PpAs a Lead Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of our offshore projects. You will collaborate with employees of different nationalities and disciplines and you will be located in one of our offices (HQ or Breda). We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Engineer who can manage (large) offshore cable installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background. Together we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future. /p h3Deck Foreman /h3 pAs a Deck Foreman on our Fallpipe vessels, you are responsible for the building up of the fallpipe, to execute our offshore activities in good order. You guide a team of deckhands and work together proactively. Your technical knowledge makes sure you oversee the process from A to Z. /p pTo develop policies and standards for own discipline, analyse and assess risks and opportunities, advise stakeholders on measures and ensure implementation is in line with relevant developments, laws and regulations, in order to contribute to compliance with policies and regulations. /p pIf working on projects, you determine or contribute to the QHSE‑S objectives for the project within the assigned (sub)area, analyse relevant QHSE‑S requirements, monitor regularly and ensure project execution is according to QHSE‑S standards, procedures, contract agreements and legal requirements. /p pAdvise Project Management on QHSE‑S matters and promote QHSE‑S awareness. Ensure feedback to HQ. /p h3Project Controls Engineer /h3 pAs a Project Controls Engineer, you will provide support for a project from contract award up to close. You are the one that plans the work and keeps an overview of the overall progress. Implementing tools and processes challenge you and you make sure that this implementation goes smoothly. Project Management Systems do not have any secrets for you. You understand core project controls knowledge areas (scheduling, risk management, cost control, project information management). Thinking out of the box and using innovative ways to improve the business processes are key elements in this job.
