Sales Manager – Orthopedics (BeNeLux)

Planet Pharma are recruiting for a key client, a leading innovator in the medical device industry, specializing in orthopedic solutions that enhance mobility and quality of life for patients worldwide. As part of their strategic growth across Europe, we are seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to drive our Orthopedics business across the BeNeLux region.
Role Overview:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of the sales strategy for our Orthopedics portfolio. You will manage and expand key customer accounts, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, clinical, and customer service to ensure strong market presence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for the Orthopedics portfolio across BeNeLux
* Drive revenue growth through both new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts
* Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, clinics, and distributors
* Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities and market trends
* Partner with the marketing and clinical teams to organize educational events, workshops, and product demonstrations
* Stay informed on competitive landscape and market dynamics, providing feedback to internal stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards at all times
Profile We Are Looking For:
* Proven experience (5+ years) in sales within the medical device industry, preferably with a focus on Orthopedics
* Strong network of contacts within the orthopedic community in BeNeLux
* Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel extensively across the territory
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Fluent in English and at least one local language (Dutch and/or French preferred)
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, life sciences, or a related field
