Compliance & Control Manager - Wyre (Joint Venture Telenet x Fluvius)

Job Description
Wyre is a new infrastructure company focused on deploying the network of the future, formed by Telenet and Fluvius. We seek a Compliance & Control Manager to oversee operational and financial controls, monitor compliance KPIs, and serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors.
Key responsibilities
* Monitor and track key compliance and internal control KPIs across business processes.
* Identify control gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
* Support the design, implementation, and testing of operational and financial controls.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of key processes and controls.
* Follow up on remediation actions from internal and external audits and ensure timely closure.
* Track audit findings, control deficiencies, and remediation plans.
* Act as a key point of contact for auditors and management regarding the internal control framework.
* Ensure internal policies are available, up to date, and aligned with governance standards and regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate and follow up on compliance‑related trainings.
* Oversee risk and issue management activities.
* Organize governance meetings to inform senior management and key stakeholders of major risks and control issues.
* Lead the design, monitoring, and follow‑up of mitigation actions related to ERM heatmaps.
Qualifications
* You have a strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, COSO, ICFR).
* You have proven experience within a similar role and working with internal and external auditors.
* You have the ability to analyse financial and operational processes and identify control improvements.
* You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills to navigate with internal and external parties.
* You are detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills.
