For our European Construction Equipment Stock, we are looking for a Quality Engineer who can work in Belgium and the UK.
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our machines are delivered to customers in the best possible condition: on time and within budget. You'll monitor production processes, identify potential bottlenecks, and collaborate closely with production and quality managers, as well as our trusted partners in Belgium and the UK. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What can you expect from this challenging job?
Production Monitoring:
Oversee production activities on the floor to identify and resolve issues that could affect productivity.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of production reports.
UK PDI Center Management (Southampton):
Coordinate and follow up on UK machines at the Southampton PDI Center.
Conduct regular audits to check machine condition and operational flow.
Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and ensure timely delivery to customers.
Eucup Production Check (Beveren, Belgium):
Perform audits and checks to maintain quality standards and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.
Are you the new colleague we are looking for?
Experience as a mechanic in the heavy construction machinery is a must.
Strong ability to manage complexity and make sense of high-volume, sometimes contradictory information.
Proven decision-making skills to optimize production performance.
Fluent in English.
Experience in optimizing workflows and improving processes for maximum efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Action-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm for tackling challenges.
Resourcefulness in deploying resources effectively and finding creative solutions under constraints.
A passion for innovation and introducing new ideas to enhance organizational success.
