If you're ready to join a dynamic team of Personal Assistants to gain a first experience as a Personal Assistant, this internship is tailor-made for you.
This is a multifaceted internship experience where you will learn from A&O Shearman colleagues of various seniority levels.
Your role as a Personal Assistant intern
Provide comprehensive support to lawyers and contribute to the efficiency of Practice Groups :
1. Assist with document layouting, printing, filing, and archiving
2. Draft and proofread documents
3. Engage in research and translations
4. Support database management (e.g. CRM)
5. Handle administrative tasks, including expense management, timesheets and tasks related to matter management
6. Manage schedules, coordinate travel arrangements, restaurants bookings and small events
7. Provide help on ad hoc projects and tasks
Who are we looking for:
8. You are in your last year of Bachelor studies (Office Management, Management Assistant, etc)
9. You are a native French or Dutch speaker, with a good understanding of the other language, as well as an excellent command of English
10. Your organizational skills are top-notch
11. You demonstrate precision and resilience in your work
12. You have a good command of MS Office
13. You are a fast learner and have a hands-on mentality
14. You are open to work from our offices in Brussels or Antwerp
15. You are looking for an internship between Jan 2026 and May 2026
