Dovesco Private Equity primarily invests in Belgium as a generalist investor, with combined Assets Under Management of its portfolio exceeding €1 billion. We continue to invest our own, permanent capital base in equity tickets between €20 million and €50 million. Our value creation strategies focus on driving organic and inorganic growth, professionalizing companies, and establishing robust governance structures.
Our Private Equity team in Gent (Zwijnaarde) is seeking motivated candidates for our Dovesco Private Equity Internship Program. As an intern, you will work closely with the core investment team, benefiting from regular coaching and mentoring
What’s in it for you As an intern, you will be guided by our investment team as you conduct market, industry, and company-specific research analysis. Your work will support our sourcing activities as well as the identification of add-on opportunities for our portfolio companies.
We offer a flexible and stimulating working environment, providing clear learning opportunities and exposure to the day-to-day operations of Private Equity. You will work directly with our investment team, who will coach and guide you throughout your internship.
The internship is compensated, and Dovesco will provide all necessary IT and work-related tools. Additionally, you will be invited to an annual informal networking event with the Dovesco team and other alumni of the Dovesco Private Equity Internship Program.
What we are looking for Strong interest in private equity, corporate finance, or finance in general.
Pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
Previous relevant experience (advisor, other PE, audit, data analytics, etc.).
Outstanding analytical and intellectual skills, evidenced by academic or other achievements.
Good communicator, pragmatic, independent, and proactive; fluent in Dutch and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Availability for at least 3–6 consecutive months, with the ability to commute daily to the HQ in Gent.
