Job Description: Desktop / IT Site Support Resident Engineer.
Note: We require candidates from Romania, Serbia, and Spain.

Role Overview:
The Desktop / IT Site Support Resident Engineer is responsible for providing on-site and remote end-user IT support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. The role involves troubleshooting desktops, laptop, peripherals, and basic network issues while delivering high-quality support aligned with ITIL processes and defined SLAs. The engineer will act as the primary local IT contact for users and coordinate with centralized IT teams as required. Fluency in Romanian is mandatory for effective local user support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide L1/L2 on-site and remote desktop / site support for end users.
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
* Install, configure, and support Windows 10/11 operating systems and standard enterprise applications.
* Support Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and collaboration tools.
* Perform user onboarding/offboarding activities including system access and device provisioning.
* Handle IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) activities.
* Provide basic Active Directory support (user accounts, password resets, group access).
* Coordinate with Service Desk, Network, and Infrastructure teams for escalations.
* Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
* Support meeting rooms, AV equipment, and local office IT infrastructure.
* Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, security policies, and SLA targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 4–6 years of experience in Desktop / IT Site Support or End-User Computing roles.
* Strong hands-on experience with Windows desktop environments and end-user hardware.
* Working knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise IT tools.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
* Experience working in ITIL-based service delivery environments.
* Fluent Romanian language skills (mandatory).
* Good command of English for coordination with global teams.
* Strong communication, customer service, and troubleshooting skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
* ITIL Foundation or relevant technical certifications (preferred).
* Willingness to work on-site, in shifts, and provide on-call support as required.
