Assignments
We are looking for a Test Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and analysis of product validation tests for one of our clients in the automotive/hybrid transmission sector.
Your main responsibilities include:
Converting test requests into concrete test procedures and defining necessary test equipment
Translating abstract test needs into structured test plans
Executing parts of the extended product design validation plan and ensuring milestones are met
Converting mid-to-long-term planning into weekly tasks and solving roadblocks to maintain efficiency
Preparing, coordinating, performing data analysis, and reporting development test results
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and solve technical issues
Supporting compliance with quality requirements, including ISO 17025
The profile
Background
You hold a Master’s degree in Automotive, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
Must Have
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive testing and test facilities
Familiarity with Hybrid Powertrains or Automatic Transmission
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on approach
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical issues
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have
Experience with VECTOR CANape, CANalyser, AVL-CRETA, INCA, Matlab
Customer-focused, flexible, persistent, and goal-oriented mindset
Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D
Previous experience in automotive or high-tech manufacturing environments
