We are hiring a Legal Innovation Counsel to act as a strategic liaison between our product, sales, and customer teams. This role requires a strong legal background, business acumen, and technological fluency to ensure our clients successfully adopt and maximize value from our solutions while informing the ongoing development of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers (law firms, General Counsels of PEs or acquisitive companies), understanding their workflows and guiding them in adopting Emma Legal®.
* Bridge: Work in the Emma Legal® platform closely with sales, product, and clients to ensure Emma Legal® delivers real, measurable value to legal teams.
* Product Insight: Bring client feedback to our product team to help prioritize features that solve real legal pain points.
* Sales Support: Join sales calls and demos as the legal subject-matter expert who can speak the language of our clients.
* Training & Enablement: Design and deliver onboarding, training, product videos and best-practice guides for clients and internal teams.
* Thought Leadership: Represent Emma Legal® in webinars, industry events and podcasts to showcase how AI is reshaping legal work
Qualifications
* Qualified lawyer with 4–8 years of experience in corporate law (M&A or transactional experience).
* Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders in law firms or corporate legal departments.
* Strong understanding of LegalTech and its application in transactional legal work.
* Proven experience collaborating across functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in simple way to varied audiences.
* Bonus: Speak multiple language fluently. The minimum is excellent English. Speaking French, Dutch, German, Spanish or any other language is a plus.
* Bonus: Experience in SaaS, consulting, or a customer-facing role in a technology company.
