Job Description
* Monitor regulatory developments and implement compliance programs (sustainability, business ethics, human rights, GDPR, etc.).
* Lead Ethics & Compliance initiatives such as anti-corruption, whistleblowing, and third-party risk assessments.
* Conduct investigations and resolve alerts linked to compliance risks (fraud, corruption, influence peddling).
* Drive awareness and training programs on Ethics & Compliance topics.
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.
* Provide strategic legal support on projects and disputes, collaborating with external counsel when required.
The Successful Applicant
* Master's degree in Law.
* 5 to 10 years of relevant legal experience, either as in-house counsel, interim manager, or law firm associate, with a strong focus on compliance.
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with strong communication skills.
* Hands-on, autonomous, and collaborative team player.
* Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
