Your mission:
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team! As a key member of our data team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects related to data analysis and AI. You will collaborate closely with our experienced team members to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business value through data-driven decision making.
Key responsibilities:
* Identify, structure, and interpret data based on quality standards.
* Make data and results available in an exploitable format within our client's infrastructure.
* Participate in the validation of scenario hypotheses and identification of additional data needs.
* Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
* Develop and maintain databases and data visualizations to support business decisions.
* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
* Assist in the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders to: gather necessary knowledge/insights, understand data requirements and provide data-driven insights.
* Conduct technological surveys and follow-up on novel approaches to stay ahead of industry trends and advancements.
* Anticipate and mitigate potential risks associated with data management and analysis, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Lead projects in complex client environments, navigating diverse stakeholder needs and expectations.
* Provide leadership and guidance to other team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in data science practices.
Job requirements
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management or IT or Business Economics with a passion for data management.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
* Experience in programming languages such as Python, R or SQL.
* Knowledge of data modelling and database design principles.
* Capacity to manage projects autonomously through the following competencies:

o Ownership: taking responsibility
* Fluency in English and French is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
