Introduction
We are looking for a motivated and skilled network professional to join our dynamic team. Operating in both IT and OT environments, you will help ensure the stability, security, and evolution of our network infrastructure across multiple European locations. You will work on challenging projects, contribute to day-to-day operations, and support our mission of building a sustainable energy future through robust and secure connectivity.
Responsibilities
1. Provide operational support for company activities running 24/7.
2. Participate in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT and OT systems.
3. Prepare and execute network changes with high diligence.
4. Analyse and resolve incidents and technical problems in a timely manner.
5. Support colleagues locally and across European sites.
6. Collaborate closely with other ICT teams to deliver functional evolutions and modernize infrastructure.
7. Contribute to projects such as data centre connectivity setup, cloud integration, WAN network modernization, and security enhancements.
You have the following skills
Profile Requirements
8. Proficient in one national language (Dutch or French) and fluent in English.
9. Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
10. Willingness to travel occasionally to Belgian locations.
11. Operational knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto and Checkpoint).
12. Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level).
13. Familiarity with Cisco CLI.
14. Experience with Python scripting.
15. Knowledge of backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, and authentication.
16. Any OT experience is considered an asset.
17. Background in computer science is advantageous.
18. Previous relevant work experience in a similar role.
19. Own means of transportation.
