Job Description
Own your impact at Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco company. Join us as Country Manager Denmark – Nutrimin and take a central leadership role in guiding an important transformation within our Europe & Central Asia (ECA) business. As global leaders in animal nutrition, our purpose of Feeding the Future inspires everything we do. In this role, you will act as the senior local leadership anchor, guiding Nutrimin through its final transformation phase. Over an anticipated 18–24 month period, you will lead the embedding of Nutrimin into Trouw Nutrition’s functioning steering operating model while strengthening cross functional collaboration across Denmark and the wider ECA business. Following this transformation period, the position is expected to evolve into a broader, ongoing senior leadership role within the fully integrated Trouw Nutrition structure.
What You’ll Do
Drive, organize and facilitate the transition into the new operating model
Lead and coordinate the Country Team
Provide visible, approachable leadership, both locally as well as to the functions
Support the development of functional strategies and ensure effective local execution to drive profitable growth
Foster collaboration and alignment across departments
Play an active role in key country-level processes, including:
Delivery of local project
Management and prevention of local crises
Prevention and follow-up on compliance-related concerns
Development and execution of action plans to strengthen local engagement
Performance reviews
Owning strategic people and succession decisions for critical roles
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the local community
Statutory responsibility will provide legal guidance for the country manager to act within their mandate
Reporting lines
The Country Manager reports to the Managing Director of Europe & Central Asia
The Country Manager will have no hierarchical reports
No direct line management; functional leaders remain part of their global functions while the Country Manager provides country leadership, prioritization, and coordination
Who We’re Looking For
You are a senior leader with a strong sense of ownership—someone who inspires confidence, builds trust, and brings people along through complex change. You combine strategic clarity with pragmatic execution and can navigate both formal structures and informal networks with ease.
You Will Thrive In This Role If You Bring
8+ years of senior leadership experience, ideally in agricultural related manufacturing environments
Proven track record managing change / transformation
Experience dealing with cultural and managerial complexity in an international environment
Experience working in international, culturally diverse organisations
Fluency in Danish & English
