IFB is part of the GSG Impact network, Impact Europe and Eurosif, the leading pan-European association promoting Sustainable Finance.Your roleAs a Communication & Community Manager, you will contribute to:Position IFB as the reference organisation on impact financeBuild an engaged, member-based and multi-stakeholder associationEnsure our mission resonates with investors, policymakers, the media and the publicThis is a leadership role within a small, entrepreneurial team—ideal for someone ready to take strategic initiative while rolling up his/her sleeves. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the CEO and the team and be central to shaping the narrative of impact finance in Belgium. The ideal candidate is a trilingual (NL-FR-EN) professional with solid communication skills & community-building experience and a good knowledge of the BE financial ecosystems.This position is a full-time or 4/5 – to be discussed. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic CommunicationsContribute to design and execute IFB’s communication strategy, aligned with our mission and members’ and supporters’ prioritiesCraft and adapt key messages for different audiences: finance professionals, public institutions, policy makers, media, civil society, stakeholdersEnsure strong, consistent visibility across press, digital media, publications and events2. Media RelationsAct as primary point of contact for mediaDraft press releases, speeches, policy positioning, and media kitsSupport CEO and board with preparation for media interactions as well as with speaking engagements3. Community Building & Stakeholder EngagementDevelop and animate a vibrant, cross-sector impact finance community, including banks, asset managers, insurers, foundations, private impact funds, public investors as well as other non-members associations relevant for IFB.With the team, support the organisation with regular convenings, roundtables and informal gatherings to foster relationships and trustCultivate collaboration across the ecosystem and ensure members feel ownership and connection4. Events & CampaignsLead the communication and outreach of our yearly flagship events such as Belgian Impact Week or the Belgian Impact DayCoordinate internal and external member, stakeholder and partnership eventsMake proposals on thematic campaigns (e.g. retail impact investing, pensions for impact,...)5. Content, Design & Digital ManagementOversee IFB’s web and social media presence (LinkedIn, newsletters, etc.)Produce and coordinate high-quality storytelling: case studies, interviews, policy briefings, newsletters, video clipsLead the design and production of strategic documents and materials, including:IFB’s annual reports, event reports, thematic publicationsPresentations and communication kits for stakeholders, investors, and public institutionsInfographics and visual summaries to explain complex topics simplyProfileMust-HavesTrilingual in French, Dutch and English (written & spoken)At least 5 years of experience in (strategic) communication. Advocacy, PR and community management experience are strong plus.Demonstrated leadership skills in a small or entrepreneurial organizationStrong writing, messaging, and storytelling skills—able to translate complexity into clarityComfortable with media relations Experience in the financial sector is a very strong asset.
