To support this ambition, Bscovery is setting up its IT organization to build and maintain a consolidated, integrated and efficient IT architecture capable of supporting the group's continued growth and transformation.
Job description
We are looking for a pragmatic and delivery-oriented
Group IT Manager / Head of IT
to lead Bscovery's IT department. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for stabilizing and consolidating the IT landscape, ensuring secure and reliable day-to-day operations, and delivering a prioritized transformation roadmap. You will operate in a lean setup, coordinating a small internal team and a network of managed service providers (MSPs), while driving key group-wide initiatives.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure stable, secure, and efficient day-to-day IT operations (workplace, infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, connectivity).
* Structure and run IT service management (incidents, changes, SLAs) with a strong business focus.
* Lead and deliver key IT programs and projects (e.g. CRM, digital platforms, integrations).
* Define and improve cybersecurity, GDPR compliance, and overall IT risk management.
* Own IT architecture choices, technology standards, and vendor strategy.
* Manage MSPs, suppliers, and the IT budget with clear governance and performance tracking.
* Lead and develop a small, high-impact IT team and act as a trusted partner to management.
Your profile
* 10+ years of experience in IT leadership or IT management roles.
* Proven track record delivering IT projects end-to-end in lean or multi-entity environments.
* Strong experience working with MSPs and external partners.
* Solid understanding of IT operations, cybersecurity, cloud environments, and enterprise workplace tools (M365).
* Comfortable balancing hands-on problem solving with strategic decision-making.
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
* Experience in travel, hospitality, e-commerce, or customer-centric industries is a plus.
* Languages: Excellent English required; French or Dutch required (the other is a plus).
Practical details
* Contract type: full-time.
* Working model: hybrid (on-site presence as required; based in Brussels or from regional offices).
* Travel: occasional travel within the EU and the United Kingdom.
