Technical Analyst (SaaS Systems & Financial Data)

🌟 The Role
As a Technical Analyst, you will play a key role in the design, integration, and governance of technical solutions within regulatory and financial projects.
You will operate at the crossroads of IT architecture, SaaS ecosystems, financial data, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that technical implementations are robust, scalable, and compliant.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and documenting end-to-end technical solutions involving SaaS platforms
* Analyzing and integrating SaaS systems within existing IT landscapes
* Managing complex data flows, interfaces, and APIs between systems
* Ensuring consistency and reliability of financial and profitability calculations across platforms
* Implementing strong data governance principles (data lineage, traceability, controls, quality frameworks)
* Supporting regulatory initiatives by ensuring transparency and auditability of financial computations
* Acting as a technical point of contact between IT teams, finance stakeholders, vendors, and risk departments
* Navigating internal IT approval and architecture validation processes (e.g., within large banking environments such as Belfius)
🌟 Profile Sought
* Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Finance
* Minimum 5–6 years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Solution Analyst/Designer, or similar role
* Proven experience working with SaaS environments (integration, configuration, architecture considerations)
* Strong understanding of system integration patterns (APIs, ETL, data pipelines, middleware)
* Solid knowledge of financial concepts, including profitability calculations and financial performance metrics
* Experience in banking or regulated environments
* Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management
* Ability to translate financial and regulatory requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
* Comfortable working within structured IT governance and validation frameworks
* A strong appetite for AI engineering/AI projects in general!
* Fluent in English + French and/or Dutch
➕ Nice to have:
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
* Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture frameworks
* Exposure to machine learning environments (ML profiles considered secondary but appreciated)
