The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in the Kingdom of Belgium is announcing a vacancy for a full-time driver/courier for a fixed term of one year, with the possibility of extension, starting tentatively in August 2026. The contract will be concluded in accordance with Belgian (local) legislation.
Beschrijving van de functie
The selected candidate's duties will include, among other things:
- Providing transportation services for the Embassy and protocol-related transportation;
- Maintaining the Embassy's official vehicle / fleet;
- Transporting materials and mail;
- Performing basic security duties (escorting guests);
- Tasks related to the maintenance of the official residence and office premises;
- Performing other technical and administrative tasks related to the described tasks or as instructed by the Head of Mission.
Working hours may occasionally include holidays and evenings; business trips within Belgium and to Luxembourg may also be required.

Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in English;
- Minimum of a secondary school education;
- Category B driving license;
- Communication and organizational skills;
- Residency in Belgium.

Extra informatie
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the Slovenian and/or French languages, as well as professional experience in transportation services.
