Overview
Senior Product Manager (Network) at TieTalent based in Brussels. The role leads the ICT Network team and is responsible for the planning, design, operation, and security of the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead and coach the ICT Network team; foster a positive, performance-driven team culture; set objectives and conduct evaluations.
Manage and optimize the network infrastructure (HPE Aruba) in line with SLA GOLD; monitor tools and ensure an optimal user experience.
Collaborate with the Connectivity Architect and Service Manager to develop roadmaps; ensure BAC network standards are followed across the organization.
Plan, design, organize, and manage a highly complex and critical ICT network; diagnose and resolve problems using management systems and tools.
Maintain network connectivity, security, and Aruba switch LAN environments; provide third-line support for network connectivity and outages.
Develop and implement network and system security guidelines; create procedural specifications to meet design requirements; implement disaster recovery plans (DRP) and test/maintain DRP to ensure IT-system operability.
Maintain network documentation; implement network security procedures; participate in projects requiring installation, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of the network.
Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures; manage service requests, incidents, problems, improvement plans, changes and projects; advise on future investments.
Manage relationships with Managed Service Providers and internal customers; identify project risks and define mitigation plans; manage budgets to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
Expertise in communications networks (layer 2 and 3): LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, VXLAN, EVPN, SDN, routing & switching; endpoint security, NAC, user VPN, PKI, IPAM, and related technologies.
Experience with HPE Access stack (VSF, VXF, Clearpass, …); experience with Firewalls/ WAF / Proxy; F5 (LTM, APM, ASM); optical (WDM) is a plus.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a company with critical networks; experience in team leadership.
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; French preferred.
Soft skills: customer-focused, stress-resistant, flexible, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
Keeping up-to-date with domain evolutions; willingness to implement where appropriate.
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent by experience.
