Responsibilities
1. Responsibility over regional transfer pricing governance, documentation and maintenance (in partnership with the Accounting, Controlling and IT teams)
2. Regional and cross-regional transfer pricing controversy management and audit support (in partnership with the entity finance leaders and the regional tax managers)
3. Proactive transfer pricing risk identification and management
4. Ownership over TP documentation processes, whereby focusing on efficiency and automation, and improving overall quality
5. Maintenance and improvement of the governance models and corresponding documentation for strategic entities
6. Tracking of all significant intragroup transactions and the related documentation in the areas of product, service and financial transfer pricing
7. Assistance in various international tax projects and research on specific technical tax issues.
8. Management of the external transfer pricing advisors
Qualifications
9. Accounting, economics or law degree
10. Ideally 5-7 years tax experience focused on international transfer pricing; in-house / industry experience is a plus
11. Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel) and interest to develop broader technology skills
12. knowledge of financial/tax modeling
Specific Skills
13. In-depth knowledge of the OECD transfer pricing principles, and their application in major jurisdictions (e.g. the US, UK, Belgium, Germany)
14. Strong business orientation and proven track record as an effective business partner
15. Excellent leadership (with emphasis on informal leadership), communication and project management skills
16. Oriented towards collaborative problem solving & decision making
17. Analytical approach coupled with a strong attention to detail and impact analysis
18. Ability to work effectively in a diverse organization
19. Results driven strategic thinker able to agree priorities, develop operational plans and deliver results
20. Ability to work within a cross-functional team and delegate, mentor and guide the finance function in the area of transfer pricing processes.
21. Self-motivated and organized with the ability to deliver results independently yet in team alignment in a high growth, fast-paced, multi-facility environment.
22. Willingness to operate on a flexible schedule and travel occasionally.
