Job Title: Technical Support Specialist - IT Infrastructure
About the Role:
As a Technical Support Specialist - IT Infrastructure, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
* Remotely access systems or provide on-site support to diagnose and resolve incidents.
* Assist, inform, and train users to enhance their overall IT experience.
* Log, track, and close incidents and service requests using the ticketing system.
* Conduct hardware maintenance on PCs and peripheral devices.
* Install, configure, and deploy office and industrial IT hardware and software.
* Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.
* Create and maintain clear IT procedures and documentation.
* Contribute to IT projects, including the implementation of new industrial equipment.
* Audit and prioritize incoming support requests and incidents effectively.
Technical Skills Required:
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Domain (Active Directory) environments.
* Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools.
* Skilled in hardware troubleshooting and workstation setup.
* Understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs and switch configuration.
* Ability to communicate effectively with users and deliver training when needed.
* Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
* Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
* Experience using ITSM platforms for ticket and incident management.
* Awareness of industrial IT environments, including production, logistics, and manufacturing settings.
