Role - Quality Control Manager
In this role, you will oversee the Quality Control (QC) site support group to ensure the timely release of finished products and raw materials. You will also be responsible for technician training, equipment maintenance, and monitoring quality systems in line with industry standards.

What you will do:
* Manage the organization of the QC department
* Supervise analytical procedures and performance
* Oversee the QC training program
* Manage data recording and trend analysis
* Supervise QC release prior to QA approval
* Oversee validation of analytical QC methods (protocols and reports)
* Manage out-of-specification (OOS) procedures
* Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
* Manage change controls, maintenance, calibration, and non-conformance reports
* Monitor subcontracted laboratories
* Track and report key performance metrics
* Mentor staff and support knowledge development across teams
* Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs
* Monitor departmental budgets
What we are looking for:
* Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or related field
* Strong laboratory experience and knowledge of QC methodologies (chemistry and microbiology)
* Experience in areas such as sterility testing, environmental monitoring, bioburden, endotoxin testing, etc. is a plus
* Additional QA experience is beneficial
* Leadership/management experience
* Strong knowledge of GMP and ISO standards
* Experience managing complex projects and tasks
* Familiarity with SAP and TrackWise is an asset
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in English and French
