Because ZF Wind Power keeps on growing, we are looking for a Head of Accounting, Tax & Corporate Finance (m/f/d) to join our Corporate Finance team in our headquarters in Lommel.

What you can look forward to as Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury (m/f/d):
The business unit ZF Wind Power is operating in a competitive market environment. As the Head of Accounting, Tax & Corporate Finance, you will oversee the financial framework of our global organization. You will lead a team of 20 professionals, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and efficient treasury management. Acting as a strategic partner to senior management, you will contribute to the company’s financial health and long-term growth.
As Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury (m/f/d) you acts as the right hand of the CFO and lead and manage the Global Accounting, Tax and Treasury departments. The holder of the position is responsible for:
1. Setting up and leading a team of 15 accountants located in Share Service Center in India to cover our locations in Belgium, China, India, Germany and the US
2. Steering the Global tax and treasury department assuring correct reporting and optimized processes
3. End responsibility for financial reports, consolidation and annual statements
4. Ensure compliance with IFRS, local and international tax regulations
5. Optimize cash flow, liquidity planning and risk management
6. Drive process improvements and digitalization within Finance
7. In this role you report to the CFO and are a strategic sparring partner to top management
Your profile as Head of Accounting, Tax & Treasury (m/f/d):
8. Master's degree in an economic or financial direction
9. 10-15 years in a senior financial leadership role and audit. Ideal a combination of number of years in a Big 4 environment and couple of years in a corporate environment (production)
10. Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation and treasury management
11. Experience with Shared Service Centers required
12. Excellent analytical and communication skills
13. Strong and mature people manager who knows how to motivate virtual teams
14. Experience with SAP, MS Office and Dashboarding tool (preferably Power BI)
15. Fluency in both Dutch & English
