ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Ready to create impactful media? As an Infrastructure Engineer, you are the technical compass within the organization when it comes to cloud and infrastructure architecture. You are part of the IT organization and are responsible for all cloud platforms and infrastructure systems managed, operated, and controlled.
ABOUT YOUR MISSION
Design it, achieve it! As an Infrastructure Engineer, you define the IT infrastructure roadmap in line with the global IT vision. You own the cloud and infrastructure strategy and translate strategic goals into a future-proof, secure, and efficient architectural design.
IT infrastructure from A to Z:
Together with our network architect, IT engineers, and technology partners, you design the IT infrastructure. From concept to execution: conceptual thinking is essential, but hands-on technical experience is equally critical.
Optimizing and enabling:
You evaluate technology choices, challenge proposals, and ensure ROI and TCO optimization from the design phase. You also ensure smooth transition and integration of new technologies into the operational environment. You keep architecture designs up to date, document clearly, and ensure solutions are robust, secure, and future-oriented.
Technical team champion:
You build and maintain a network of partners and vendors to stay informed about technological evolution and market trends. You act as a technology ambassador, inspiring and supporting colleagues in IT, OT, and the business. Thanks to your knowledge of complex industry developments, you help grow in an increasingly digital and changing environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Deep technical expertise: You have a strong foundation in cloud and infrastructure technologies (Azure, AWS, Windows/Linux, virtualization, containerization, AD/Entra ID, storage & backup, DDI, load balancing, messaging). You have at least 10 years of experience in complex IT environments and master both conceptual thinking and hands-on execution.
• Experience in architecture & modernization: You have at least 5 years of experience as an infrastructure architect, are familiar with data center concepts, and know how to optimize existing environments while designing new solutions that are secure, scalable, and future-oriented. You work smoothly with expert partners and thrive in a transforming organization.
• Strong communication & strategic impact: You are a technology ambassador who can guide IT, OT, and business colleagues through complex decisions. You communicate clearly, adapt easily to changing priorities, and bring a vision that inspires and provides direction.
