Job Summary
As a Senior Process Engineer, you analyze, develop and implement improvements in highly automated production processes to sustainably increase quality, yield and efficiency. You thrive in a dynamic environment where initiative, problem‑solving and collaboration are key. Acting as a bridge between production and projects, you contribute from concept to stable implementation.
Job Responsibilities
1. Analyze existing production processes to identify, test and implement improvements, and resolve current issues
2. Optimize production systems with a strong focus on OEE, quality and yield
3. Define, implement and safeguard process standards, including CP and CPK monitoring
4. Identify, prioritize and analyze bottlenecks using data-driven insights and structured problem-solving methodologies
5. Define success criteria and ensure thorough root cause analyses of production issues
6. Develop, coordinate and implement cross-functional improvement initiatives, ensuring sustainable results
7. Take an active role in change management through training, procedures and clear communication
8. Implement and optimize digital systems to monitor and analyze production performance
9. Act as the link between production and project teams for new installations, from initiation through aftercare
10. Manage the complete COC process and lead p-FMEA activities, ensuring feedback to SIPOC
11. Prepare and actively participate in daily production meetings, supporting operational follow-up
12. Contribute to TPM activities, including maintenance planning and execution
13. Support calibration activities and perform MSAs
14. Safeguard inspection readiness and ensure compliance with audit requirements
15. Participate in internal and external audits, as well as client visits
Profile Description
16. Master’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant experience
17. Strong knowledge of process expertise (technology & delivery base, implementation, risks), process control tools (such as 6S), engineering studies and process capability
18. Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis
19. Six Sigma certification (minimum Green Belt)
20. Affinity with PLCs, robotics, cobots, AI or industrial engineering
21. Open to change and motivated to continuously learn new skills
22. Proactive in tackling challenges and finding solutions when outcomes are not immediately clear
23. Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills
24. Natural team player who enjoys cross-functional collaboration
25. Fluent in Dutch and English
