Responsibilities
* Define the production process flow from incoming to outgoing for both internal and external operations if necessary,
* Define with the methods, with the quality department and with the production department each step of production, the necessary industrial equipment’s, tools and tooling,
* Define the layout for equipment’s,
* Lead the equipment’s installation until the full quality / cost / delay level is met and ensure a hand over to the production department.
* Ensure that the best practices of Lean Manufacturing are applied,
* Support the production for trouble shooting, quality issues solving and efficiency improvements,
* Stay in a continuous improvement mind‑set, define and drives improvement plans,
* Is involved in the application of engineering changes
Qualifications
* Master's degree in mechanical / electro‑mechanical / electronics / manufacturing engineering
* A first background in industry (manufacturing / assembling) is a plus
* Mecatronic / PLC knowledge
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* A background in Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 principles is a strong asset
* Fluency in English and knowledge of a local language (FR OR NL) is a must
