Electrical Engineer – Maintenance (M/F/X)

For our client, a recognized player in the heavy industry sector, we are actively looking for an Electrical Engineer – Maintenance .
Your Mission
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of equipment, assets, and infrastructure, in line with reliability, quality, safety, and budget objectives.
He/she operates in a demanding industrial environment, working closely with field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments.
Your Responsibilities
* Be responsible for subcontractor management: preparation, supervision, follow-up, and final acceptance of work
* Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance operations
* Provide technical leadership during technical meetings
* Propose technical solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage validation and qualification processes for new or repaired equipment
* Assess costs, timelines, scope, and complexity of maintenance activities
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
* Prevent, analyze, and manage operational incidents
* Carry out continuous technological monitoring
* Ensure availability and proper management of spare parts
* Manage technical aspects of procurement (support to purchasing department, RFQs, bid analysis, supplier consultations)
Your Profile
* Engineering degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering or Reliability Engineering
* 5 to 7 years of successful experience in an industrial (hands-on) environment
* Strong skills in industrial electrical systems
* Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
* Basic knowledge of mechanics
* Knowledge of failure analysis methods: FMEA, root cause analysis, Ishikawa
* Project management and reliability improvement skills
* Natural leadership and ability to supervise teams
* Strong technical problem-solving skills and sense of priorities
* Ability to perform under pressure and make decisions
* Excellent communication skills and team spirit
* Fluent in French, basic knowledge of technical English
