Strategic Supply Chain consultant - FuelsWe’re looing for a freelance strategic Logistics/Supply Chain consultant for a market mapping project with a major petroleum company in Flanders.Start- As soon as possibleDuration- 5-6 months with option for long term extensionType- Freelance contract via Amoria BondThis consultants aim is to further develop a project to market map a large part of the European market to see if a better market strategy is needed. Currently the organisation procures final product (Diesel/HVO/Petrol) from local suppliers, however management wants to evaluate whether a different market approach is more effective.They’re looking for someone with in depth market analyses, ideally with a background in the road fuel/petrol industry. The project will be led by someone from the internal organisation, however further support is needed.Initially the plan is to come up with a market analyses in order to create a business case by September/October. Depending on the findings, this consultant might also be deployed in the implementation of the project, which could mean a long term collaboration.Profile requirements:Track-record of strategic market analyses projectsIdeally experience in petroleum sector or deep knowledge on the commodityKnowledge on EU regulations on petrol is highly usefulExperience creating business casesAble to work very independentlyStrong analytical capabilitiesFluent in English (Dutch is an advantage)Interested and available?
