Your Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Process and Materials Engineer to support our advanced manufacturing operations in forging, foundry, and additive manufacturing. In this role, you will assist senior engineers with process development, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow in advanced manufacturing technologies and gain hands-on experience.
In this role you will play a key role in:
* Supporting daily production activities in forging, casting, or additive manufacturing processes
* Assisting with process optimization, including tooling, parameters, and workflow improvements
* Performing basic material analysis and quality checks (visual inspection, dimensional control, basic NDT support)
* Conducting root cause analysis and supporting corrective actions when issues occur
* Helping prepare technical documentation, work instructions, and process reports
* Collaborating with production operators and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
* Participating in trials, prototyping, and new product introduction activities
* Assisting in maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
Your Profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or Metallurgical Engineering
* 0-2 years of experience or recent graduate with internship/project experience in manufacturing environments
* Basic understanding of metallurgy, manufacturing processes, or 3D printing
* Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
* Interest in process engineering, quality, or industrial production
* Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn
* Comfortable working in a production/workshop environment
* Hands-on attitude and proactive problem-solving skills
