Job description
We are looking for a Digital Strategy Program Lead who will be responsible for executing a multi-year digital strategy for a new, fully digitalized and connected factory in Geel.
You will oversee the entire digital landscape — from infrastructure and systems to applications — and ensure a smooth transition from the project phase to operational readiness.
Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Governance
* Establish governance structures to steer activities and ensure proper reporting
* Monitor progress and resolve issues within the program
* Report progress to both the program and the broader Digital organization
Program & Project Management
* Lead the planning, development, and implementation of all digital systems
* Develop and manage a detailed project plan including key milestones
* Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources
Stakeholder Management
* Collaborate with management, engineering teams, suppliers, and partners
* Ensure alignment between digital initiatives and overall business objectives
Technology & Implementation
* Implement systems such as MES, SCADA, and DeltaV
* Integrate digital solutions into production and management processes
Compliance & Standards
* Ensure adherence to digital standards (infrastructure, cybersecurity, validation)
* Work in compliance with GxP, SOX, and other relevant regulations
Risk & Communication Management
* Identify and mitigate risks
* Ensure clear and regular communication with stakeholders
Profile
Experience
* Experience managing complex digital transformation programs
* Experience in the pharmaceutical sector or other regulated industries is a strong plus
* Experience working with international and cross-functional teams
Skills
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* In-depth knowledge of digital systems and industrial technologies
* Strong project management capabilities
Languages
* Fluent in English
* Dutch, French, or Flemish is a plus
