Prevention Officer Level II
We ARE Renewables is looking for a Prevention Officer Level II for one of our clients based in Antwerp.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor the QHSE management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
* Conduct internal and external audits, including preparation, follow-up, and corrective actions.
* Coordinate the internal prevention and emergency response teams (BHV).
* Maintain registers such as Risk Inventory, Environmental Aspects, and Chemical Substances (REACH/CLP).
* Support the preparation of the global prevention plan and annual action plan.
* Perform risk analyses, investigate incidents, and implement preventive measures.
* Provide safety instructions to new employees and organize toolbox meetings.
* Advise on workplace organization, hygiene, use of protective equipment, and emergency procedures.
* Collaborate with external partners and the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW).
Requirements:
* Diploma as Prevention Advisor Level II (Level II Prevention Officer).
* VCA VOL certificate is a strong plus.
* Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial or technical environment.
* Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
* Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.
