Software Verification & Validation Engineer - Belgium - Avionics
For one of our clients in Belgium, we're looking for a V&V Software Engineer to join the Avionics R&D team.
About the role
You will support the verification and validation of safety-critical avionics display products through rigorous testing and review activities, helping ensure compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality software.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and V&V engineers to define and execute test setups and procedures.
- Apply internal processes and standards for the verification of safety-critical avionics software.
- Analyse software requirements, develop test strategies, and create test cases and procedures.
- Perform reviews to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of test processes
Key Skills
- Knowledge of C and Python.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment, such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Experience with DO-178, RTOS, and embedded systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
