Job description As a Surety Underwriter with a focus on risk and commercial aspects at Credendo GSR, you are responsible for conducting financial analyses, assessing surety risks, and implementing appropriate actions to support clients while minimizing potential losses for the company. Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for the Surety business line, analyzing financial data and market dynamics.
Underwrite contracts and manage bonds, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
Monitor and mitigate risks throughout the full insurance cycle, including potential claims phases.
A university degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Science
At least 2 years of proven experience as a Credit Analyst, Risk Underwriter or similar (within risk department or associate front office department)
Fluency in French and English (C2 level), with at least basic knowledge of Dutch
Solid understanding of financial analysis and basic accounting principles
