YOUR ROLE
You won’t just “keep the lights on.” You will be a hands-on technical authority, ensuring that Gaming1’s infrastructure remains robust, secure, and future-ready.
* Own the Infrastructure: Act as technical owner of core infrastructure components, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability across corporate and retail environments.
* Secure by Design: Enforce security baselines, apply system hardening, and embed cybersecurity best practices into daily operations.
* Keep Systems Healthy: Manage lifecycle activities (upgrades, patches, replacements), monitor system health, and proactively prevent incidents.
* Be the Last Line of Defense: Provide 3rd-level support, lead root cause analyses, and implement long-term corrective actions.
* Automate & Improve: Eliminate repetitive tasks through scripting and automation, and continuously improve infrastructure efficiency and resilience.

The Tech Stack (What We Use)
* Core Systems: Windows Server, Linux
* Identity & Enterprise Tools: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune (Jamf is a plus)
* Virtualization: VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix
* Security & Ops: Monitoring tools, backup & recovery solutions, security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
* Automation: PowerShell (preferred), Bash or equivalent
