We are currently supporting a global end client in their search for a permanent SAP Manufacturing Operations Lead to be responsible for the maintenance and evolution of SAP Production Planning & Execution, Plant Maintenance and Quality Management.
The role is based in Barcelona, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement with approximately 4 days per week onsite and 1 per week working remotely.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a stable, international organisation on a modern SAP S/4HANA landscape.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
* Define and drive the strategic vision, maintenance, and continuous evolution of the SAP PP/PM/QM landscape, ensuring alignment with wider business and operational objectives within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
* Own and deliver the SAP PP/PM/QM roadmap, leading implementations, rollouts, and enhancement initiatives while ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Business Process Owners (BPOs), and global/local IT teams, providing expert guidance on solution design, process optimisation, and future-state capabilities.
* Contribute to the transformation roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, standardisation, scalability, and operational performance.
* Demonstrate sustained leadership experience within large, complex international organisations, managing multiple stakeholders across cross-functional environments.
* Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, with responsibility for resource planning, staff development, performance management, and budget ownership.
* Bring a minimum of 15 years SAP PP/PM/QM experience, including strong expertise across SAP S/4HANA implementations and global rollouts.
* Fluent English and Spanish language skills are essential.
