Job description:
* As a Change & Release Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring changes and releases within the IT environment. You ensure that changes are carried out in a controlled, well-documented and risk-aware manner, with minimal disruption to services.
* You work according to the defined processes and procedures and play a key role in ensuring stability, quality and continuity of IT services.
Your responsibilities:
Change Management (ITIL)
* Co-responsible for managing the entire change management process
* Assessing, prioritizing, approving and following up on RFCs (Requests for Change)
* Organizing and chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
* Perform risk analyses and estimate impact on systems and processes
* Monitoring change compliance and documentation
Release Management
* Coordinate and plan releases and deployments
* Participate in the management of the standardized release processes and procedures
* Align with development, test, and operations teams
* Evaluating releases (post-implementation reviews) and identifying areas for improvement
Process improvement & governance
* Continuous improvement of change and release management processes
* Reporting on change success ratios, incidents and KPIs
* Drafting and monitoring procedures and policies
* Stakeholder management with both business and IT
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or equivalent through experience
* At least 3–5 years of experience in change, release or service management
* Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ...)
* Experience with GITHUB
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Stress-resistant, proactive and solution-oriented
* Willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed to follow up on critical changes and releases
Nice to have:
* ITIL Certification
* Experience with DevOps / Agile environments
* Kennis van CI/CD pipelines
