The role
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage demand forecasting for a specific product range across the EMEA region. This role requires building precise forecasting models, collaborating cross-functionally to gather market insights, preparing demand analyses, and actively contributing to consensus meetings. Strong analytical capabilities, relevant demand planning experience, and proficiency with forecasting and supply chain tools are key for success.
Additionally, this position oversees the regional execution of the supply plan, as defined by global leadership, ensuring timely product availability to meet customer service levels while maximizing supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor market developments and align demand forecasts with business targets.
* Generate monthly demand forecasts for assigned product categories using statistical methods.
* Partner with marketing and sales teams to integrate market intelligence and align forecasts with commercial strategies.
* Coordinate order forecasts for distributor channels to maintain consistency.
* Deliver forecast and inventory performance reports to management, emphasizing trends and areas of concern.
* Leverage historical sales, market data, and other inputs to refine forecast accuracy.
* Track forecasting KPIs such as accuracy and bias, creating action plans to achieve targets.
* Communicate potential supply risks and challenges proactively to commercial stakeholders to enable transparency and contingency planning.
* Provide accurate, timely updates on order status, backorders, product availability, and lead times.
* Manage inbound logistics activities including shipment tracking, discrepancies, and escalation procedures to ensure uninterrupted supply.
* Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures related to inventory management, receipt, distribution, and warehouse operations.
* Maintain data integrity in ERP systems by managing supply chain parameters, resolving system inconsistencies, and overseeing inventory controls.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in demand planning or supply chain forecasting.
* Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
* Proficiency in SAP, advanced planning systems (APS), and demand planning software.
* Fluency in English required.
* Prior experience in the healthcare or medical device sectors is preferred.
