Job Description
The Role of Reliability Maintenance Engineer Technician is a key position within our operational team. As an RME Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety best practices.
A Day in the Life
Our RME Technicians are based on-site, allowing them to respond quickly to any machinery issues. This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working safely. In addition, they will respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible.
Working alongside senior colleagues, RME Technicians undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing. They also liaise with contractors if external expertise is required. The role involves working on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
* Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
* Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
* Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
* Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
* Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites

Requirements
* Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
* Good communication skills in English and the local language
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, relevant qualifications in condition-based monitoring, print and apply machines, or conveyor/automation systems would be advantageous.
