As part of this initiative, we are seeking a skilled Connectivity Manager for the Western Europe Hub, who will be instrumental in driving the integration of BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS). Reporting to the Customer Success Leader, you will play a pivotal role in deploying our Solutions strategy in France and Benelux. This itinerant position for France and Benelux requires an average of 30% travel and can be based anywhere in France, in a city with easy access to transportation. Solution Specialist IT - Medication Management Solutions (MMS) BD - Medication Management Solutions Job Overview As a Solution Specialist IT, you will support the design and pre-sales definition of integrated Medication Management Solutions across hospital environments. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure BD MMS solutions can be seamlessly connected to hospital IT systems and workflows. This role is key to enabling BD's strategy for connected medication management in the Benelux area. Key Responsibilities Support pre-sales activities by assessing customer needs and proposing suitable IT integration approaches. Lead technical discussions with hospital IT, pharmacy and clinical stakeholders to understand requirements and workflow challenges. Design solution proposals based on the BD MMS portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, product capabilities and cybersecurity standards. Explain and document interoperability options with hospital systems (HIS/PIS, EHR, pharmacy platforms) using standards such as HL7, FHIR, XML or REST APIs. Participate in solution workshops, demos and customer meetings to present architecture and integration concepts. Contribute to tender responses by preparing technical content, diagrams and integration descriptions. Collaborate with Sales, Technical Services, Marketing, R&D and Product Management to ensure consistent solution design and alignment with product roadmaps. Align with the Platform Marketing, R&D and Product Development to inform and support strategies to ensure current and future roadmaps. Support data-driven activities such as ROI discussions, value demonstrations and technical documentation. Help develop tools, templates and materials that improve the efficiency and quality of solution design. Applying knowledge of the hospital/group of hospitals' business to develop optimal solutions and support tender process. Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing clear guidance on integration, connectivity and digital transformation opportunities. Required Skills & Experience Familiarity with hospital connectivity and interface engines / EAI systems. Knowledge of basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and cybersecurity concepts. Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability (HL7, FHIR, XML). Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to evolving customer needs. Fluent in Dutch/French, with a good knowledge of English. Education & Background Degree in IT, Integration Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmarcy IT or a related field. Experience in healthcare IT or hospital pharmacy IT is a strong advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience. Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, digital transformation or post-sales support is preferred.
