Responsibilities
1. You participate to or lead engagements of our Risk Advisory practice for our banking and insurance clients to help them develop and streamline Dataernance practices.
2. You are able to make a connection between the RDARR requirements, Dataernance practices, BCBS239 principles and our clients specific organization, by providing tailored solutions or updating policies and procedures.
3. You assist our clients in setting up Data Quality controls in either their regulatory reporting and/or regulatory/internal risk calculations.
4. Your role will cover a wide range of responsibilities such as conducting workshops with business users, gathering business requirements, defining both functional & technical requirements. You will also guide and support the needed IT-testing and deployment.
5. On the other hand, you could also participate in implementation projects related to risk management solutions or data infrastructure for risk and regulatory reporting.
6. You assist our clients in the processing and reporting of their risks: credit risk, market risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk etc., from data collection, treatment, risk calculations and reporting.
Must-have requirements
7. You have an MA or MSc in management sciences, applied economics orputer sciences.
8. You have at least 4-6 years of experience in financial institutions with a strong understanding of banking or insurance business and experiences in Dataernance, Data Quality Frameworks, Internal Controls and RDARR.
9. You have outstanding analytical skills.
10. You are proficient in SQL, SAS or Python or other programming languages.
11. You are familiar with BCBS 239 and its principles for Dataernance, Data quality Framework, IT architecture.
12. You are able to work autonomously in a result-oriented environment.
13. Goodmunication, writing and presentation skills with the ability to explain sophisticated issues in a simple but professional way.
14. You are fluent in English (both verbal and written).
15. Understanding of one or more risk calculation (credit risk, market risk, ALM, climate risk, Liquidity risk,...) and reporting processes (COREP, LCR, NFSR, QRT).
16. Knowledge of European risk regulation (CRR2, CRR3, Basel IV, Solvency 2).
Nice to have
17. First-hand experience with Agile ways of working is a plus.
18. French and/or Dutch (oral and written).
