Job Description:
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees in Belgium. Your efforts will directly impact the organization's value proposition by providing excellent service and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process accurate and timely payroll for ~500 employees in Belgium, including all payments, deductions, and statutory obligations.
* Reconcile payroll data and review provider output to ensure correct processing of starters, leavers, absences, and variable inputs.
* Manage payroll-related queries through our internal portal, ensuring timely and value-aligned responses.
* Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to provide accurate payroll reports and GL outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven payroll experience in a fast-paced environment, with deep knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation.
* Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and high PC literacy.
* Proven ability to accurately process, balance, and reconcile payrolls with a strong focus on data accuracy and attention to detail.
* Solid analytical, numeracy, and decision-making skills, paired with strong time management and organizational capabilities.
