Bpost strives to create an inclusive environment with challenging projects and inspiring collaborations. With our colleagues at the heart of our organisation, we believe in careers rather than jobs. As part of the international group bnode, bpost has transitioned from the Belgian postal operator to a regional and digital expert in parcel size logistics. With a focus on social and environmental sustainability, our people are the foundation of everything we do. We foster a culture that supports diversity, inclusion and career growth, ensuring that every team member has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. What will you do? The Global Head of Compensation & Benefits is responsible for strategically developing, safeguarding, and implementing a clear, fair, and competitive rewards policy for bnode, in Belgium as well as internationally. With a strong vision on reward, this leader builds a consistent and transparent approach to fixed and variable compensation, benefits, job architecture, and job evaluation—always with a focus on simplicity, legal compliance, and business impact. In the Belgian context—characterised by complex employee statuses (statutory, contractual, interim) and a stringent legal framework—the role provides robust, compliant, and workable solutions that are rolled out coherently across all entities of the group. The Global Head C&B explicitly takes ownership of end‑to‑end reward processes, from policy development to payroll implementation and communication, ensuring a consistent and frictionless employee experience. In parallel, the role builds an internationally scalable and harmonised reward framework. This includes policies for international mobility (short/long‑term assignments, expatriate/impatriate), including tax and social security optimisation, to attract and retain talent worldwide in a market‑competitive and cost‑conscious way. The Global Head C&B supports the CHRO towards the Remuneration Committee and Board by developing strong, data‑driven dossiers: market benchmarks, scenario analyses, STIP/LTIP evaluations, pay‑equity reporting, and benefit utilisation. This role creates clarity and buy‑in for strategic decisions at the highest level. As leader of a team of seven Reward experts, the Global Head Compensation & Benefits builds a high‑performing centre of expertise—data‑driven and closely collaborating with HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and business leaders. The goal: seamless policy execution, structural process improvements (automation, first‑time‑right, user‑friendly tools), and sustainable embedding of fair‑pay principles within the organisation. Impact of the role With vision, expertise, and execution power, the Global Head Compensation & Benefits ensures a simple yet strategic reward framework, an optimal employee experience, and strong governance confidence towards the CHRO, RemCo, and Board. The reward team is recognised as a visible, reliable, and strategic partner that not only designs policies but also brings them to life in practice. Who are you? 10–15+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits within large, complex organisations.
