At ZF Wind Power, we are a global leader in technology‑driven manufacturing of on‑ and offshore wind turbine gearboxes and powertrains and a global service partner. We delivered the world’s first offshore 9.5 MW wind turbine gearbox and, in close cooperation with our partner, delivered the first next generation 15 MW offshore powertrain.
We have the world’s largest installed capacity of +8 MW offshore wind turbine gearboxes. What you can look forward to as Senior Project Process Engineer:
* Identify where global production standards for assembly can be applied and identifies gaps where new process standards need to be developed
* Align with the respective process engineers (Global experts and plant responsibles) throughout the product development process to identify the correct process flow, routings, PFMEA, capability
* Drive the co‑engineering process together with the Design Engineers to come to a Design for Assembly solution to secure the assembly process in serial production
* Challenge and monitor the assembly community, and is technical sparring partner for the process engineers
* Execute the prototype building and process validation as well as support the local plant on‑site during the ramp‑up for serial production
* Drive efficiency by using standards and transparent communication tools and advises the management team on competence management / training requirements and global resource planning for the different PE Teams
Your profile as Senior Project Process Engineer:
* Engineering degree with several years of working experience in assembly process engineering in a project focused environment and relevant matrix team lead experience
* Profound knowledge of assembly processes related to gearboxes
* Knowledgeable on standard lean and quality tools (FMEA, T&M, …)
* Working experience with SAP and MS Office
* Proactive person with good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) with willingness to travel
