PpThe Data Architect contributes to the creation of the strategic enterprise data architecture for the organization. The Data Architect collaborates with the Data Governance Analytics team as well as with the Enterprise Architecture team and other IT teams to define the principles, standards, and guidelines regarding data flows, data aggregation, data consumption and data placements. He/she will provide guidance regarding data architecture in critical programs and data quality remediation activities. In addition, he/she will independently validate data architecture for adherence to defined policies, standards and guidelines including regulatory directives like Solvency and IFRS17. /ppShe/he is responsible for documenting the data assets available in the data landscape (Data Lake, Data Warehouse and BI Reporting in the Azure cloud, Master Data Management, …). /ph3Key Accountabilities /h3ulliParticipates in the development of governance processes around technology and business aspects of the Enterprise Data Architecture framework. /liliProvides guidance and counsel to project teams to ensure that their processes and deliverables align with the target state architecture. /liliDesign optimal solution architectures that support the insurance business and contribute to the realization of the target architecture. /liliContributes to the definition, implementation and execution of the internal independent architecture validation framework to optimize the enterprise’s data architecture. /liliTakes the lead in documenting and publishing the data assets of the organization with a focus on data assets within the BI Analytical landscape. /liliStays well informed on Data Science and is a partner of Data Science Community. /liliProvides effective challenge within the internal independent architecture validation process and other relevant enterprise data governance areas. /liliHelps in the identification of data architecture opportunities for a broad, diverse, and complex set of business functions and processes, and recommends the capitalization of these technology opportunities to the Enterprise Data Architecture leadership team in order to benefit the Enterprise. /liliDevelops and maintains strong working relationships with peers across the IT Organisation and business partner’s organization in order to ensure adherence to Data Architecture standards. /li /ulh3Knowledge and Skills /h3ulliExhibits solid knowledge of data architecture concepts and practices. /liliStrong expertise in a BI Analytics data landscape in the (Azure) cloud. /liliPossesses a university degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) and/or 10 to 15 years’ experience in the IT industry. /liliPossesses solid financial industry business knowledge as well as knowledge of major data consumption use cases in financial services. /liliStrong expertise in data architecture best practices and data modelling (Data Architecture Design, Data Flows, Data Value Chains, Enterprise Data Model). /liliDemonstrates solid knowledge of architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), DAMA DMBok). /liliComfortable in the field of modelling with Archimate, and preferably master EA Sparx. /liliPossesses solid communication skills, both written and oral (English mandatory, French and/or Dutch recommended). /liliDemonstrates solid consulting and client management skills. /liliEnergetic, personable, and achievement‑and‑outcome‑oriented. /li /ulpAXA aims to be a reflection of the diverse society in which we live and has therefore been pursuing a policy of active diversity, non‑discrimination, and equal opportunities for many years.
