You’ll work with a team of 10+ architects and engineers to design and build robust cloud solutions that meet strict security and compliance standardsYour day-to-day will include:Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of cloud architects and engineers, helping them grow their skills and deliver high-quality workArchitecture Strategy: Shape how we use AWS across the business, ensuring our technical choices align with our goals and regulatory needsDesign & Build: Create comprehensive cloud solutions for regulated industries, including secure networks, data protection, and compliance controlsSecurity Focus: Develop multi-layered security approaches that protect data across different sensitivity levelsStakeholder Management: Present architecture plans and decisions to executives and key stakeholders, explaining technical concepts in business termsCross-functional Collaboration: Work with security, compliance, and business teams to solve complex problems and build consensQuality Assurance: Review designs, conduct security assessments, and ensure everything meets regulatory requirementsBest Practices: Create standards, templates, and guidelines that help teams build consistent, reliable cloud solutionsInnovation: Champion modern cloud approaches like serverless computing, containerization, and microservices to improve how we build and deploy applicationsWhat We’re Looking ForDeep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and designAWS Services Mastery – Expert-level knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, Organizations, Control Tower, and Security HubSecure Landing Zones – Proven experience designing and implementing AWS secure landing zones with multi-account strategies, network segmentation, and compliance controlsSecurity & Compliance – Strong understanding of security frameworks (such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark), compliance requirements, and experience supporting security accreditation processesCloud-Native Architecture – Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, event-driven systems, API design, and modern application patternsHybrid & Multi-Cloud – Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures, AWS Outposts, and integration with on-premises environmentsExperience leading and mentoring technical teamsStrong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirementsAbility to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiencesTrack record of successfully delivering large-scale cloud projectsKnowledge of cloud-native technologies and modern application architecture
