Your Team And Your Responsibilities
T he Circular Economy Business Unit is objective is:
* Minimise use of virgin raw materials in new vehicle by maximisin g recycled content in design phase.
* Ensure Zero waste in manufacturing
* Maximise End of Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling by reintegration of this recycled material back into Toyota supply chain.
We are looking for members to join us in shaping Toyota's future through innovative circular economy solutions. This is a fast-evolving, forward-thinking team working across multiple areas to ensure Toyota is not only compliant but also a leader in addressing the challenges of the Circular Economy. As part of our future strategy, we are exploring the concept of a Toyota Circular Factory.
Your Responsibilities
* End of Life Vehicle (ELV):
* Map & analyse ELV market. Identify ELV channels including buying practices and opportunities, to re-direct ELV volume back into Toyota network.
* Benchmark local market ELV recyclers and dismantlers.
* ELV Buying strategy & implementation:
* Propose buying strategies for European countries by channel.
* Create action plans and KPI's with relevant stakeholders.
* Lead implementation, engaging with external partners and internal stakeholders.
Work closely with ELV sourcing colleague(s) to ensure process consistency, support efficient ways of working and foster a PDCA & learning exchange mindset
Your Profile
* You are fluent in English (TME's business language)
* Degree in Business, Engineering, or Project Management or equivalent experience
* 2+ years' experience in the Automotive industry or transferable skills from related fields with focus on Strategy/Purchasing
* Passion for sustainability and circular economy; knowledge of material waste management is a plus
* Familiarity with R&D, Value Chain, ans Sales is a plus
* Strong communication skills across all levels and cultures
* Analytical and process-oriented mindset
* Proactive and adaptable in fast-paced, diverse environments
* Results-oriented while fostering collaboration and inclusion
